All Natural, As Nature Intended

All Natural, As Nature Intended

Technology brought us many conveniences and advantages. Computers enable us to share information so everyone benefits from the research.

But is it always better?

Technology provided methods to increase production of food thru “Modern Farming” techniques, which vastly reduced the healthy benefits of the food.

Our grandparents used “Natures Way” of raising beef in pastures. Cattle graze, lie down, and chew their cud, a soothing cycle, repeated day after day. Read More…

Hay Day

Each Spring & Summer brings life to Perry Farm, along with a large amount of work. Early summer brings what I refer
to as Hay Day, where I spend the better part of a week, cutting, sweeping, baling and storing hay for our cattle. It’s a lot of hard work and we do it twice a year, but the benefits are phenomenal.

Growing and processing our cattle’s winter feed, allows me to control what they eat and what you eat when you buy our beef. It also helps keep cost down so our prices stay competitive in this market.

So if I seem a little tired this weekend at Josh’s Farmers Market, you’ll know it was Hay Day for a whole week!
