My grandmother used to say “Snow that lays around over a week, is begging for more snow”, well she may have been right.
Perry Farms got another 3 inches of snow Friday night. This week’s snow was just that, snow. Fortunately, this winter storm didn’t have any ice, so it melted really fast. Enjoy the pictures our friend/neighbor Kevin took of the snow.
Our concerns are with our trees. The grounds on Perry Farms are like sponges, it is saturated. Our fear is that any high winds may uproot trees around the farm. To date no high winds are forecast in the near future, but we still have our fingers crossed.
Perry Farms has received over 8 inches of precipitation this year, by far the wettest start to a year we have ever seen.
